Soy Hoisin Chicken Thighs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 lb chicken thighs with skin and bones

→ Marinade

02 - 4 tablespoon rich hoisin sauce
03 - 3 cloves garlic, crushed fine
04 - 2 green onions, chopped small
05 - 1 tablespoon standard soy sauce
06 - 1 tablespoon nutty sesame oil
07 - ¼ teaspoon white pepper or black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Throw all marinade stuff in a bowl and stir well. Pour the mix into a container you can seal or a food bag.
02 - Drop chicken thighs into your marinade mix. Let them sit for 1 hour at least but leave them overnight if you want the best taste.
03 - Heat your oven to 355°F. Put the chicken on a tray or dish with parchment or foil under it. Save the leftover marinade for later.
04 - Cook for 35 minutes total, brushing the chicken with saved marinade every 10 minutes. Chicken's done when it hits 165°F inside or the juices aren't pink anymore.
05 - Let chicken cool for 5 minutes. While waiting, put any leftover marinade in a small pot, heat it up till it bubbles, then turn off the heat. Pour this over your chicken when serving.

# Notes:

01 - You'll get super moist chicken cooked in a sweet-salty soy glaze that's perfect when you need a quick family meal on busy nights
02 - Always grab hoisin sauce instead of oyster sauce for this dish
