Turn the oven to 400°F and let it heat up.

Starting at the thicker end of the carrot, tightly coil one bacon slice around it. Make sure the bacon edges don't overlap.

Put the carrots wrapped in bacon onto a wire rack that sits on a baking sheet.

Pop the carrots in the oven for about 25 minutes. The bacon should get crispy, and the carrots soft.

Take the carrots out and coat them evenly with the maple syrup.
