Buttery Cod with Lemon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 4 (6 oz) pieces of cod

→ Sauce Base

02 - 1/4 cup (60g) melted unsalted butter
03 - 2 tbsp oil from olives
04 - 3 tbsp squeezed lemon juice (roughly 1 lemon)

→ Seasonings

05 - 3 finely chopped garlic cloves
06 - 1 tsp grated lemon peel
07 - 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
08 - 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, as needed

→ Garnish

10 - 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley leaves
11 - Cut lemon rounds for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 400°F (200°C) and coat a baking dish lightly with oil
02 - Stir melted butter, oil from olives, lemon juice, chopped garlic, lemon peel, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper together
03 - Arrange cod pieces in your dish and pour the lemon butter mixture all over them
04 - Pop in the oven for 12-15 minutes until fish turns white and breaks apart easily
05 - Sprinkle with parsley and add lemon rounds before bringing to the table

# Notes:

01 - You can swap cod with other white fish like haddock or tilapia too
02 - Toss in some red pepper flakes if you want a kick of heat
