Cajun Steak Shrimp Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Proteins

01 - 1 pound steak (16 oz)
02 - 10 jumbo shrimp

→ Sauce Ingredients

03 - 1 cup heavy cream
04 - 1 cup chicken stock
05 - 1 cup shredded Parmesan
06 - 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
07 - 2 tablespoons plain butter

→ Pasta and Garnish

08 - 1 pack of fettuccine
09 - Chopped fresh parsley for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Fire up your grill for indirect cooking to slow-cook the steak first
02 - Rub the steak with your go-to seasoning or salt-pepper-garlic mix. Put shrimp on skewers and sprinkle with cajun spices
03 - Set steak on the cooler side until it hits 110°F inside (takes around 20 minutes), then move to hot flames until it reaches 127°F
04 - Toss garlic in melted butter in a pan over medium heat for 2 minutes. Pour in the stock, cream, and add the Parmesan
05 - Cook fettuccine in bubbling water for 6-8 minutes till it's tender but firm
06 - Rest the steak for 10 minutes and cut across the grain. Mix the drained pasta into your thickened sauce and serve with the meat and shrimp

# Notes:

01 - Always let your meat sit before cutting for extra juicy slices
02 - You can swap in some pasta water instead of chicken stock if you're out
