Loaded Cheese Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - One bag of frozen French fries, weighing 1 pound

→ Toppings

02 - A mix of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese, about 3/4 cup
03 - Crispy cooked bacon strips, chopped (use 3 to 4)
04 - Chopped fresh green onions
05 - Chopped pickled jalapeños
06 - Sour cream to drizzle on top

→ Fry Seasoning

07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
09 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
10 - A pinch of salt, about 1/2 teaspoon
11 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, or you can use Italian seasoning

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and let it preheat. Combine all the seasoning mix ingredients in a tiny bowl and set them aside.
02 - Cook your frozen fries until golden and crispy. You can throw them in an air fryer or bake them—whatever works best for you.
03 - Move the freshly cooked fries onto a tray that can go in the oven. Give them a quick coat of oil spray, sprinkle half the seasoning on, and toss until they're all coated evenly.
04 - Spread the fries out in one layer, sprinkle the cheese all over, and broil them for 2 minutes or so. Don't walk away—keep an eye on them so the cheese melts without overcooking.
05 - Scatter the bacon bits, green onions, and pickled jalapeños across the cheesy fries. Drizzle sour cream over everything, then dust with the leftover seasoning.
06 - Serve them right away while the fries are crunchy and everything's warm. These are fantastic to share!

# Notes:

01 - Loaded fries like these make a great snack for groups—perfect for game nights or casual parties!
02 - To keep the fries crispy, wait until just before serving to cook them and add the toppings.
03 - Want creamy cheese instead of melted shreds? Try a quick sauce: Mix 3/4 cup shredded cheese with 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Heat 1/2 cup heavy cream, toss the cheese in, cover for 2 minutes, and then whisk it smooth over low heat.
