Burrata Tomato Basil Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Burrata

01 - 2 balls Burrata cheese
02 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
03 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

→ For the Tomatoes

04 - 3 big heirloom tomatoes
05 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 10 big fresh basil leaves
09 - 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
10 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Take burrata balls out of liquid and put them aside
02 - Cut heirloom tomatoes into 1/2 inch pieces and place on plate with sides touching. Throw cherry tomatoes around them
03 - Sprinkle tomatoes with salt and pepper, then add 1 tablespoon olive oil on top
04 - Cut up basil leaves and toss half of them over the tomatoes
05 - Gently break open each burrata ball with your fingers and set on the tomato mix
06 - Add salt and pepper to burrata, pour remaining olive oil, add leftover basil, and drizzle balsamic vinegar over everything

01 - Want thicker sauce? Try ready-made balsamic glaze or boil some down yourself
02 - It's also great with arugula underneath or a bit of pesto on top
