Cream Strawberries Puffs Easy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough & Toppings

01 - 1 puff pastry sheet, chilled and ready to use
02 - 1-2 cups heavy cream or double cream
03 - 3-5 tbsp granulated sugar
04 - 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
05 - Powdered sugar for sprinkling

→ Egg Brushing

06 - 1 large egg
07 - 1 tbsp water

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (or 200°C, Gas Mark 6) and get a baking tray lined with parchment.
02 - Pull the puff pastry out of the fridge, then leave it on the counter for a few minutes. This keeps it from cracking when unrolled.
03 - Slice the pastry into squares. Fold them corner-to-corner to form triangles, and lay them on your prepared tray. Leave space between each.
04 - In a small container, whisk the egg and water together, then use a brush to coat the tops of the triangles.
05 - Slide the tray into the hot oven. Bake for roughly 20 minutes or until the pastries are golden and puffed up.
06 - While they’re baking, beat the cream with sugar until stiff peaks form. Spoon the whipped cream into a piping bag with a nozzle tip, then wait to use.
07 - Remove the green bits from your strawberries, then slice them thinly.
08 - Thanks to cooling, the pastries should now be easy to slice open. Pipe the whipped cream into the middle, add strawberry slices, and gently press closed.
09 - Dust some powdered sugar over the pastries, then serve them as a delightful treat for your family or friends.

# Notes:

01 - Let the puff pastry warm for five minutes to stop it from tearing when unrolling.
02 - Cut your dough into rectangles instead of squares if you want a different look.
03 - Allow the pastry to completely cool before stuffing. Warm pastries will melt the cream.
