Effortless Sardine Toast Goat Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can of King Oscar Brisling Sardines with Spicy Cracked Pepper, without liquid
02 - 8 baguette slices, cut to half an inch thick
03 - A couple of tablespoons of olive oil
04 - About 2 tablespoons of plain cream cheese
05 - 2 tablespoons of plain goat cheese
06 - 4 cherry peppers, sliced and deseeded
07 - Fresh parsley for topping, chopped up
08 - Freshly ground black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F to get it hot enough for toasting the bread.
02 - Grab a serrated knife and slice the bread into even pieces, about half an inch thick. Lay them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
03 - Use a pastry brush to coat each bread piece with olive oil, then pop them in the oven for 5-8 minutes. Pull them out once they're lightly golden and let them cool down a bit.
04 - Put the goat cheese and cream cheese into a small microwave-safe dish. Warm it for around 15 seconds to make it soft enough to combine smoothly.
05 - Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture onto each bread slice. Dust it with fresh black pepper, then place a cherry pepper slice and a sardine fillet on top.
06 - Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over each appetizer and serve them right away.
