Sweet Spicy Glazed Thighs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Chicken

01 - 6 skin-on chicken thighs, thoroughly dried
02 - 1 tablespoon avocado oil, to help make crispy skin
03 - 1 teaspoon lemon pepper mix
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Sticky Glaze

07 - 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
08 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
10 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your air fryer or oven to 375°F (190°C). Grab paper towels and dry those chicken thighs completely. This trick makes the skin super crunchy!
02 - Combine your flavor boosters in a container - mix the avocado oil, lemon pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together. Rub this all over the chicken pieces, making sure they're fully covered.
03 - For air fryer fans, place them skin-down at 375°F for 15 minutes. If you're using an oven, put parchment on a tray, cook at 400°F for 20 minutes skin-down, then flip and cook another 10 minutes until you see that gorgeous crispy skin.
04 - As the chicken cooks, mix your sticky coating in a bowl. Stir the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce until everything's smoothly combined.
05 - Now comes the fun part - paint that yummy sauce on your chicken about 4 times during cooking. Keep going until your thermometer reads 165°F. Remember, more basting means a better sticky layer!
06 - Want it extra amazing? Put it under the broiler for 2-3 minutes at the end. Just watch it closely - you want it caramelized but not burnt!

# Notes:

01 - Make sure to dry your chicken thighs completely with paper towels for the crunchiest skin possible
02 - The last 2 minutes under the broiler really makes the difference for that sweet, sticky outer layer
