Sweet Garlic Chicken Pan (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound chicken breasts without skin or bones
02 - 1/4 cup plain flour
03 - 1 tablespoon cooking oil
04 - 2 tablespoons butter, split

→ Glaze

05 - 6 cloves garlic, cut into thin slices
06 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon flavored rice vinegar
08 - 1/3 cup honey

→ Spices & Topping

09 - Kosher salt as needed
10 - Fresh ground black pepper as needed
11 - Green onions, sliced thin

# Instructions:

01 - Mix cooking oil with 1 tablespoon butter in a big skillet and heat over medium to medium-high flame
02 - Cut chicken breasts into four thinner strips lengthwise. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then roll in flour until covered
03 - Fry the flour-coated chicken about 4-5 minutes on each side till golden. Take out and put aside
04 - Drop in remaining butter and let it melt on medium-low heat. Stir in sliced garlic for 30-60 seconds until you smell it
05 - Pour in soy sauce with vinegar, scraping up pan drippings. Mix in honey, pepper, and salt. Let bubble for 4-5 minutes till it gets thicker
06 - Put chicken back in pan, let it warm in the glaze for a minute. Scatter green onions on top before serving
