# Ingredients:

→ Main Stuff

01 - 1 diced bell pepper, vibrant and colorful
02 - 1 pound of ground chicken
03 - 2 garlic cloves, minced finely
04 - 1 small onion, chopped into tiny bits

→ Seasonings & Sauce

05 - 1/4 cup of ketchup
06 - 1 small can (8 oz) of tomato sauce
07 - 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
08 - 1 generous tablespoon of Cajun seasoning
09 - A splash of olive oil to cook with
10 - A tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
11 - Season well with salt and a sprinkle of fresh black pepper

→ Add-ons and Serving

12 - 4 warm burger buns
13 - Optional: creamy coleslaw on top
14 - Optional: shredded cheese of your choice
15 - Optional: a few tangy pickle slices

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up the olive oil in a big pan on medium until it’s glossy. Toss in the onion and bell pepper, moving them around until soft and smelling amazing, about 3-4 minutes.
02 - Throw in your garlic and quickly stir it for roughly a minute until its smell fills the kitchen. Don’t let it burn!
03 - Drop the ground chicken into the pan. Break it apart using a spoon and cook until there’s no pink left, usually 5-7 minutes.
04 - Add tomato sauce, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce into the skillet. Sprinkle over the Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it all simmer for 10 minutes so the flavors can blend wonderfully.
05 - While the filling cooks, toast the buns lightly until they have a bit of crispiness.
06 - Spoon the warm chicken mix onto the bottom half of your buns. Top with pickles, shredded cheese, or coleslaw if you'd like. Put the other half of the bun on top and you're done.

# Notes:

01 - Pick thick buns like kaiser rolls so they can hold the filling without getting soggy
02 - Want more spice? Add a pinch of extra cayenne to your seasoning blend
