Cheese Ham Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Fillings

01 - 2 packages crescent dough sheets
02 - 1 pound sliced deli ham
03 - 8 sticks of cheddar cheese

→ Glaze

04 - ¼ cup butter, melted
05 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
07 - ½ tablespoon dried onion flakes or onion powder
08 - ½ tablespoon poppy seeds

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Get a baking sheet ready by greasing it or putting down some parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the crescent dough sheets and slice each one into 4 equal portions, giving you 8 pieces altogether.
03 - Lay ham slices evenly on each of the 8 dough pieces. Top each with a cheddar stick. Tuck in the sides and roll them up to close completely.
04 - Line up your wrapped sticks on the baking sheet you've prepared.
05 - Combine the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion, and poppy seeds in a small bowl.
06 - Paint each roll with your butter mixture.
07 - Pop them in the oven for 12-15 minutes until they look golden and crispy.
08 - Dig into your Ham and Cheese Sticks while they're still warm!

# Notes:

01 - Using premium ham and cheese really makes these taste way better.
02 - Store your dough in the fridge until you're ready to use it for easier handling and better puffing.
03 - You can make these ahead - just put them together, freeze them on a tray, then bag them up for later.
04 - They taste awesome when dipped in marinara, ranch, or some honey mustard.
