Gooey Garlic Pull Apart (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread

01 - 1 (16 oz) artisan sourdough loaf
02 - 3 cups freshly shredded mozzarella
03 - 2 tablespoons minced garlic
04 - 1 tablespoon mixed Italian herbs
05 - ½ teaspoon regular salt
06 - ½ teaspoon ground pepper
07 - 1 teaspoon spicy chili flakes (if you want)
08 - 8 tablespoons (1 stick) melted plain butter

→ Dipping Sauce

09 - ½ cup virgin olive oil
10 - ⅓ cup dark balsamic vinegar
11 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic
12 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
13 - 1 teaspoon table salt
14 - 1 teaspoon hot chili flakes (if you want)
15 - ⅓ cup shredded Asiago
16 - ⅓ cup grated Parmesan

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 350°F. Combine the shredded mozzarella with minced garlic, herbs, salt, pepper and hot flakes in a bowl.
02 - Grab your bread knife and slice the loaf in lines going one way, then turn it and cut lines the other way. Don't cut all the way through.
03 - Push the cheese mixture down into all the bread cuts. Pour melted butter all over the top.
04 - Set bread on a foil-covered baking sheet. Tent another piece of foil on top and bake for 20 minutes. Take the foil off and broil until cheese gets bubbly, about 2-3 minutes.
05 - While your bread's in the oven, mix up all your dipping sauce stuff in a small bowl.

# Notes:

01 - Try different cheese types if you want
02 - Goes perfectly with a bowl of soup or some marinara
