Maple Butter Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Basic Stuff for Sandwiches

01 - 4 English muffins split in half
02 - 4 big eggs
03 - 4 slices of cheddar cheese
04 - 8 oz of pork sausage

→ Butter with Maple Flavor

05 - 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
06 - 4 tablespoons softened salted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Divide the pork sausage into 4 patties of roughly the same size. Heat a large skillet on medium-high with a spritz of non-stick spray, and cook each side for 3-4 minutes until they're browned and crisp around the edge. Move the finished patties onto a plate lined with paper towels to drain off extra grease.
02 - Tip out the oil from the skillet, then put it back on a medium flame. Whisk eggs together in a bowl with a touch of salt and pepper. Pour them into the pan and let them sit until the top just starts to set but is still a bit shiny. Gently fold the eggs over. Take the pan off the heat and let the eggs finish on their own with the skillet's warmth.
03 - Whip your softened butter in a bowl until it’s smooth, then stir the maple syrup in until it’s evenly mixed. At the same time, pop the English muffins in a toaster until nicely golden.
04 - Smear about 1 tablespoon of maple butter on each muffin half. Start layering with a folded egg on one side, followed by a sausage patty. Drop a slice of cheese on top and pop it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to melt the cheese. Place the other muffin half on top. Use the remaining ingredients to make all four. Eat while warm and gooey!
